PRESS RELEASE
Woodhull Raceway to Honor First Responders During Salute to First Responders Night on May 16 Woodhull, NY – Woodhull Raceway will proudly recognize the dedication and sacrifice of the men and women who protect and serve our communities during Salute to First Responders Night on Saturday, May 16, 2026. In appreciation for their service, all first responders presenting proper identification will receive free grandstand admission for the evening’s racing program. Sponsored by Ken’s Collision of Canisteo, New York, the event promises a full night of exciting dirt-track racing action while honoring firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, and emergency workers who continue to answer the call every day. Fans will witness a full lineup of Woodhull Raceway competition, including the powerful Insinger Performance Modifieds, the highly competitive Hometown Excavation Crate Sportsman, the exciting Southern Tier Customs RUSH Crate Late Models, the fan-favorite Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, the hard-charging Ken’s Auto Hobby Stocks, the unique and entertaining Lowery Family Farms Quad C, and the always-action-packed Ken’s Collision Warriors. The evening’s card will also feature the return of the IMCA Modifieds, completing what race fans know as the “Great Eight” show at New York’s Toughest Bullring. Blend’s Feed Store of Osceola, Pennsylvania, and Brew’s Booze of Jasper, New York, return to the sponsorship lineup after rain forced postponements earlier in the season. Their continued support makes nights like this possible and strengthens the connection between Woodhull Raceway and the local communities it serves. Because of the addition of the IMCA Modifieds to the racing card, track officials have announced that no makeup features will be scheduled for the evening, but will run the Quad C King of the Bull Ring, allowing fans to enjoy a full program featuring all eight divisions. “This night means a great deal to everyone at Woodhull Raceway,” said track officials. “Our first responders are there during some of the most difficult moments people face, and this is our opportunity to say thank you and show our appreciation. Pairing that recognition with a full night of racing and the return of the IMCA Modifieds makes this one of the most exciting events of the spring season.” Ken’s Collision, a longtime supporter of racing in the Southern Tier, is located at 15 West Main Street, Canisteo, NY 14823, and can be reached at (607) 698-2247. Blend’s Feed Store is located at 3226 State Route 49, Osceola, PA 16942. With community appreciation, powerful race cars, and a packed lineup of divisions all coming together for one memorable night, Salute to First Responders Night is shaping up to be another must-see event at Woodhull Raceway. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, wear their support proudly, and help honor the heroes who serve our region every day.
